    System administrators can greatly increase their productivity and efficiency by leaving the GUI wizards behind and incorporating PowerShell into their daily routines. This course will expose students using Powershell in a variety of scenarios using many features included in Windows servers, such as Exchange, IIS, SharePoint, Azure, and Office 365. Prerequisite: ISTC2035

    1. Perform key admin tasks on Windows servers.
    2. Employ best practices for writing PowerShell scripts to configure Windows servers.
    3. Use the .NET Framework to achieve administrative scripting.
    4. Create PowerShell scripts using decision structures with relational and logical operators.
    5. Create PowerShell scripts using loop structures.
    6. Demonstrate understanding of variables and the various data types.
    7. Create PowerShell scripts with multiple functions.
    8. Set up VMs, websites, and shared files on Azure.
    9. Report system performance using built-in cmdlets and WMI to obtain single measurements.
    10. List the tools used to diagnose and resolve issues with Windows servers.
