    In this course, the student is expected to learn the procedures underlying server operating systems. The course will cover network design, installing Servers, configuring and optimizing Servers, managing users and groups, disk quotas, basic and dynamic disks, security, and print management. Prerequisites: ISTC1033 Operating Systems II

    1. Install, Configure, monitor, manage, optimize, and troubleshoot the performance of the Server.
    2. Configure, manage, and troubleshoot local user and group accounts.
    3. Install, configure, and manage Active Directory.
    4. Install, configure, and manage DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol).
    5. Install, configure, and manage DNS (Domain Name System).
    6. Configure a Virtual Server.
    7. Manage software updates.
