    This course covers basic position welding techniques of the different welding applications used in the heavy truck repair industry. This course will cover applications of oxyacetylene welding, brazing, cutting, heating, arc welding, and wire-feed (MIG). Prerequisites: None

    1. Demonstrate and understand professionalism and safety practices
    2. Demonstrate the safe and proper use of an acetylene tourch.
    3. Preform proper set up of arc welding equipment, while demonstrating the ability to make standard weld joints used in heavy duty truck repair.
    4. Demonstrate the proper use of a plasma cutter.
